The Urban Ag Hour is a new monthly initiative hosted by the University of Arizona Cooperative Extension's Urban Agriculture, Small-Scale, and Beginning Farmer Program in collaboration with the Natural Resources Conservation Service. February's event will feature a talk by Dr. Debankur Sanyal on soil health for urban farms, followed by Regional Beginning Farmer/Rancher Coordinator Rick Lopez's presentation on the Farm Service Agency. Participants will gain knowledge specific to small-scale and urban farming, while having an opportunity to connect with service providers, Extension expertise and other farmers in attendance!
